Create an Audit Assessment in Paramify – Paramify

An audit assessment is a structured review of controls, evidence, and related requirements to determine audit readiness. Use the Assessments section in Paramify to track formal audit engagements against your compliance programs, such as FedRAMP 3PAO assessments or internal audits. This article walks through creating an Audit Assessment from start to finish.

1. Navigate to Audit Assessments

Select Assessments > Audit to enter the audit assessments page.

2. Create an Audit Assessment

Click " + Audit Assessment" to begin creating the assessment.

3. Choose Target Program

Select the program you want to assess from the list of programs in your workspace.

4. Name the assessment

5. Click "Next" to continue to the following configuration step.

6. Add Desired Controls

Select desired controls to be added to the assessment. The default selection includes all controls, and currently selected controls will appear in the list on the right of the modal.

7. Click "Save" to store the audit assessment settings and selections.

8. Review the Created Assessment

The created assessment can then we accessed and reviewed. A dashboard will show assessment status, as well as details including what controls are contained within the assessment.

9. Add Assessor Users

Once an assessment is created, assessors can be added to the workspace. Select the settings icon to begin adding assessors.

10. Click "Users" to manage user settings within the workspace.

11. Click "+ User" to add an assessor to the workspace.

12. Set User Permissions

Add the user's email and name, and select the desired user type. In this case, select "Assessor" to add an assessor to the workspace.

13. Click "Add Users" to save the added user.

You have successfully created an audit assessments in Paramify and added assessors to the workspace. Once the assessors have been added to the workspace, they can begin auditing assessments within Paramify.

1. Open an Assessment

Once assessors log into Paramify, they will see a list of all current audit assessments within the workspace. They can then select the desired assessment. All audit assessments for the workspace can also be downloaded via the button with three dots in the corner of the screen.

2. View the Dashboard

The assessors can then see an overall dashboard for the assessment, outlining what controls need to be assessed, as well as a completion status visual.

3. Select a Control

Assessors can select a control, review the capability implementation, and fill out the capability assurance section. This section includes a plan, result, method, user, and status. Assessors can also bulk assign assurance reviewers.

Assessors can audit controls individually until all controls in an audit assessment have been reviewed and the assessment is complete.
