Risk Solution Adoption Status – Paramify

Overview

Adoption Status is a field on each Risk Solution that lets your team track whether a solution has actually been adopted in your stack — separate from its Solution Status. You can view and set Adoption Status from the Risk Solutions list or from within any Risk Solution's detail panel.

Who can use this

Any user with access to the Risk Solutions section under Implementation can view and update Adoption Status.

How to set Adoption Status

1. Navigate to Risk Solutions

From the top navigation, click Implementation. The Risk Solutions list opens, showing a dedicated Adoption Status column alongside Solution Status for every risk solution.

2. Open a Risk Solution

Expand a category in the left sidebar and click the Risk Solution you want to update to open its detail panel.

3. Find the Adoption Status field

In the right-hand detail panel, scroll to the Implementation section. You'll see Adoption Status listed below Solution Status. If no value has been set it will show Not Set.

4. Click the Adoption Status field to open the dropdown

Click the Adoption Status value to open the inline dropdown. All available statuses appear immediately — no page navigation required.

5. Select a value

Click the status that best reflects the current adoption state. The field updates instantly and the panel confirms Changes saved at the top of the page.

Available Adoption Status values

Value	When to use it
Implemented	The solution is fully adopted in your environment.
Alternative Implementation	A different approach has been adopted that satisfies the same requirement.
Not Applicable	The solution does not apply to your environment.
Planned	Adoption is planned but not yet underway.
Partially Implemented	The solution has been adopted in part but is not complete.
Not Implemented	The solution has not been adopted.
Not Set	Default — no adoption status has been recorded yet.

Reviewing changes in the Activity log

Every Adoption Status change is recorded automatically. To review the history, open the Risk Solution detail panel and click the Activity tab at the top right of the panel.

NOTE

Adoption Status and Solution Status are independent fields. Updating one does not automatically change the other — you can set them separately to reflect the true state of each solution in your environment.
