Overview
Paramify has expanded its reviewer workflow capabilities across Elements, Evidence, Control Implementations, and Solution Capabilities. These updates make review status more actionable and accurate — automatically resetting reviewer approvals when content changes, enabling bulk review actions across record types, and embedding reviewer management directly into Evidence workflows.
Automatic review status reset when a field changes
When a reviewer marks a record as Reviewed, Paramify now automatically resets that status to Not Set whenever a relevant field on the record is changed. This ensures reviewers are always approving the most current version of the content — not a version that may have changed since they reviewed it.
This auto-reset behavior applies to:
- Elements
- Evidence sets
- Validators
Which changes trigger a reset on Elements
The following changes on an Element will reset the Reviewed status for any reviewer who had previously approved it:
- Element content and data fields
- Origination
- Responsible Role
- Owner
- Data Flows
- Inventory
- Evidence updates on associated evidence records
The following fields and actions do not trigger a status reset:
- Implementation Status
- Remarks
- Reviewer Comments
- Adding or removing artifacts on associated evidence
NOTE
Only reviewers who have set their status to Reviewed are affected. Reviewers with a Not Started or In Progress status are not impacted when fields change.
Viewing reviewers on an Element
Each Element has a dedicated Review tab where you can see assigned reviewers and their current status.
1. Open an Element
Navigate to Implementation → Elements and click any Element to open its detail page.
2. Click the Review tab
In the right panel, click Review to see all assigned reviewers and their current status.
3. Add a reviewer
Click the + icon next to Reviewers to assign an additional reviewer to the Element.
Fields visible on the Management tab
The Management tab shows the Implementation Details and Assurance Details for each Element. Changes to fields in the Implementation Details section — including Responsible Role, Origination, and element content — will trigger an automatic reset for any reviewer currently marked as Reviewed.
Bulk review actions
You can now update reviewer status across multiple records at once from any list view. Bulk review actions are supported for:
- Elements
- Evidence
- Control Implementations
- Solution Capabilities
To use bulk review actions, select one or more records using the checkboxes in the list view, then choose the appropriate review action from the bulk action toolbar that appears.
NOTE
Bulk actions that change Implementation Status or apply Bulk Remarks do not reset reviewer status, even when applied to records with reviewers currently marked as Reviewed.
Reviewer management in Evidence workflows
Reviewer management is now embedded directly into Evidence workflows. Evidence records include:
- A dedicated Reviewers tab for assigning and managing reviewers on individual evidence records
- Reviewer columns in the evidence list view, showing review status at a glance without opening each record
This makes it easier to manage and track review status directly on Evidence records, closer to where the evidence work happens, rather than only through higher-level records.
