A system security plan (SSP) can be a living document especially as a company matures their risk management posture through planning, implementation, and reporting.

Paramify streamlines SSP maintenance using our Find & Replace features for both Risk Solutions and Custom Responses.

Bulk Actions

The Find and Replace function can be applied on a selection of Risk Solutions or custom responses. The function can find and replace a string containing text, mentions, and smart text. This bulk action is ideal when the search criteria might apply to more Risk Solutions or custom responses than you desire to update.

See below for steps to perform the Find & Replace function for a select set of Risk Solutions or custom responses.

Risk Solutions

Navigation Steps:

1. Risk Solutions > Implementation
2. Select applicable Risk Solutions for consideration
3. Click Actions > Find and Replace
4. Enter string, including mentions and smart text, in the "Find" text box that you wish to replace
5. Enter string, including mentions and smart text, in the "Replace" text box to replace the text in the "Find" text box
6. Click Replace

Custom Responses

Navigation Steps:

1. Projects > Project > Controls > Implementation > List View
2. Select applicable Control Implementations for consideration
3. Click Actions > Custom Responses Find & Replace
4. Enter string, including mentions and smart text, in the "Find" text box that you wish to replace
5. Enter string, including mentions and smart text, in the "Replace" text box to replace the text in the "Find" text box
6. Click Replace

Full Set

The Find and Replace function can be applied on across all Risk Solutions or custom responses. This is ideal when a procedure should be updated or a new element should be added to every instance of an existing string that can include smart text and/or mentions in Risk Solutions or custom responses.

Risk Solutions

Navigation Steps:

1. Click Risk Solutions > Implementation > Hamburger Menu > Risk Solution Find and Replace
2. Enter string, including mentions and smart text, in the "Find" text box that you wish to replace
3. Enter string, including mentions and smart text, in the "Replace" text box to replace the text in the "Find" text box
4. Click Replace

Custom Responses

Navigation Steps:

1. Projects > Project > Controls > Implementation > Hamburger Menu > Custom Responses Find and Replace
2. Enter string, including mentions and smart text, in the "Find" text box that you wish to replace
3. Enter string, including mentions and smart text, in the "Replace" text box to replace the text in the "Find" text box
