Overview
Data Type field in the Leveraged Authorizations and Interconnections tables in the SSP is populated by specifying the "Information Types" in the Data Element type and then completing the data flow on the respective FedRAMP System and Interconnection components.
1. Information Type Mapping to Data Element Type
Navigation:
- Elements > "Data" tab
- Select Data Element > "Information Types" tab
- Edit Selection > Check applicable selection on the left side of the information types
- Click Confirm Selection
2. FedRAMP System and Interconnection Data Flow Mapping
Navigation:
- Elements > Filter Subtype = FedRAMP Sytem or Interconnection
- Within each relevant component, create valid data flows by clicking the + at the top right of the respective table under "Flows"
- Data Sent
- Data Received
- Data Stored
The Data element selected in each data flow triggers the Leveraged Authorization and Interconnection tables in the SSP to populate with the Information Types selected on those Data elements.
Prior to Release 1.47.0 "Information Type Received" on FedRAMP System and/or Interconnection components was populated to determine the data type field values on the Leveraged Authorization and Interconnection tables. The "Information Type Received" field has been deprecated and populated values will be lost with Release 1.48.0.
